Chicago Restaurant Week 2020
21 January 2020
This year, the iconic Chicago Restaurant Week takes place from January 24 to February 9, allowing diners to expand their culinary and cultural horizons in Chicago’s colorful restaurant world. While “week” is in the name, in reality the event is a 17-day celebration of the city’s award-winning culinary scene. Now in its thirteenth year, Chicago Restaurant Week brings together hundreds of the city’s top restaurants, showcasing the city’s vast and wide array of offerings.
“Every year, Restaurant Week offers Chicagoans and visitors alike a unique opportunity to sample and savor the tastes, sights, and smells from every corner of our city,” said Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot. “Chicago’s well-deserved status as our nation’s culinary capital is drawn from our city’s multitude of cultures and the ingenuity of our chefs in all of our 77 communities, and I personally look forward to exploring some of our local eateries and discovering the hidden gems off the beaten path.”
During Chicago Restaurant Week, diners can enjoy special prix fixe menus from over 430 restaurants in the Chicagoland area at unusual prices. Of the participating restaurants, 80 are new to the Chicago Restaurant Week scene, joining the lineup for the first time this year. All restaurants are offering multi-course meals at $24 for brunch or lunch, and $36 or $48 for dinner (prices exclude beverages, tax and gratuity). While reservations aren’t required, they’re highly encouraged. Explore the full list of participating restaurants, peruse their menus and make reservations, here.
