Groundbreaking News Continues
25 October 2019
As you may know, the official 1000M Groundbreaking ceremony took place yesterday — more details on that to come — but for now, everyone is abuzz with sharing their excitement and updates on the project’s momentum.
Yesterday, both NBC Chicago and WTTW (Chicago PBS) offered TV news coverage of the official 1000M Groundbreaking event, a ceremonial affair ushering in the 74-story skyscraper to the city’s skyline.
In follow up, anticipation is building for the start of construction on the ultra-luxury condominium complex.
Chicago Tribune shared a story announcing that after the groundbreaking ceremony, construction will soon be underway in December. They described: “Chicago’s biggest condominium project since the recession will be under construction by December, and the Helmut Jahn-designed skyscraper will open within three years, its developers said Thursday.”
Connect Chicago also broke the news in an article titled “Biggest Condo Project in a Decade Set for December Start.” Building Design + Construction chimed in too, announcing the construction schedule and highlighting the amazing amenities that will fill the building.
This is just the beginning of 1000M taking its place in the city skyline — and popular media.
