Time Out Market Chicago

27 November 2019

For the last few years, food halls have been popping up all across the city. But none have created quite as much buzz as the new-to-town Time Out Market Chicago. Built by the magazine of the same name, the food hall is redefining the phenomenon by bringing good eats and good culture in the same space.

Time Out Market Chicago, which opened last week, is Fulton Market’s newest and hottest culinary and cultural destination for eating and drinking. Featuring the best names in the business all under one roof, the food hall hand-selected its chefs and bartenders from the city’s best. Lunch at the food hall offers everything from Mexican and Vietnamese dishes to the perfect slider burger to classic Chicago deep dish pizza.

As the largest Time Out Market in the country, the food hall is in a 50,000-square-foot space that includes 600 seats in a communal setting. The architecture of the hall is marked by an impressive skylight that floods the space with natural light. The perfect place for both lunch and nighttime affairs, the hall includes 18 kitchens, 3 bars, a demonstration kitchen and one breathtaking rooftop terrace with sweeping city views. Also included is Secret Sound, a tropical-themed speakeasy from the same minds that created Lost Lake.

The full list of chefs and restaurants includes: Abe Conlon, Arami, the Art of Pizza, Band of Bohemia, Bill Kim, Brian Fisher, Dos Urban Cantina, Decent Beef, Duck Inn Dogs, FARE, John Manion, Lost Larson, Mini Mott, Pretty Cool Ice Cream, the Purple Pig, Secret Sound, Split-Rail, Sugar Cube and Thai Dang.

Time Out Market Chicago is located at 916 W Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607.
