Helmut Jahn’s 1000M Will Rise to Be One of Chicago’s Tallest Buildings

“Soaring 832-feet high and spanning 74-stories up, a luxury condominium dubbed 1000M Chicago is the latest project by German-American architect Helmut Jahn.
The residential building will be located at the edge of Grant Park in Downtown Chicago. Jahn says 1000M will boast sweeping views of the city that won’t be obstructed by other buildings, because the north, east and south views will be protected. He adds that there used to be a height restriction on the Historic Michigan Avenue Street Wall in Chicago, but that has since been revised—making this one of the city’s tallest buildings.”
